ECAR: HISTORY

Created in 1957 as a family company the artists Juan Esteban and his wife. First contacts with plastic begun, Wafter exhibitions of their pictorial works in diferent centres. They started to make Wax Museum, where the bigger pieces were made in polyester and fibreglass.

Some of these wax museums were made for the Hollywood Park, a company dedicated to the mechanical amusement that used to make their tours in a special train, due to the dimensions of the park. To request of Hollywood Park owner's Mr. Kuperman, figures were delivered for his haunted house, and from that moment the company started to provide other decorative elements for parks.

Later figures were made for Sequalino Carousels and also to beautify the structures. A few years later started to make the first games for parks e.g.: worm, merry-go-rounds (also knwon as carousel, Karrussel, carrusel, carrousel, tiovivo) macro-forms (for advertising companies), giant custard (diameter:8 meters), the giant doll, projects of giant heart for the Favaloro foundation, project of giant sculpture of tango singer Gardel.

In the calculations of structures and budget intervenes their greater son the civil engineer, and afterward so did the rest of their children in different areas of the company, like administration, computer aided design, budgeting, time control, and marketing.
